Enabling the Organization

For an organization to start working with  performance excellence, a throughout understanding of what performance excellence is and how it works is neccesary.


Solution Excelence have developed a set of tools to make the organization understand the concepts behind performance excellence, strategies and strategic alignment and the understanding of business drivers behind a strategy.


This fundamental knowledge is crucial for having a successful performance excellence implementation.

The enabling process consist of 6 processes 


Each of these steps secures the foundation for both an adequate strategy implementation and the performance excellence model for the organization

1. Review of Corporate Strategy


Solution Excellence will start any project with an extensive look into the organizations corporate strategy and visions for the future. 


In order to build the right model for implementing performance excellence, it is important that we fully understand the companys mission and vision and how the organization is intended to fulfill goals and targets.

2. Evaluate AsIs Performance


The next step is to get an indept insight into the companys current performance, including challenges and obstacles in securing performance excellence. 


Solution Excellence does not perform a scoring or grading, but merely establish the foundation for the continued process. 


Further, a project team is selected for the continued process.


This team will be divided in direct project resourses, supporting functions and project promoters.

3. Define Training Program


The core foundation of our enabler is based on a business simulation, where the participants are introduced to performance excellence, business drivers and how work with these elements defines the performance excellence of an organization

4. Execute Training


The project organization, including supprting functions and project promoters are to participate in a 5 days training event, where the team is prepared for the project and the adjoined work. 

5. Define Business Drivers


Following the training session, 2-3 workshops are held with the participants to define the organizations business drivers, and how these affects the defined corporate strategy.

Plan ToBe


Following the definition and common understanding of the business drivers, te core project team are planning the desired "ToBe" performence excellence model, including first view at targets and corporate KPIs.
